Savoir-Faire Event Planning Announces Sweetest Day Promotion

to Benefit Local Breast Cancer Survivors

AKRON, OH — October 4, 2011 — Savoir-Faire Event Planning announces a special promotion for the upcoming Sweetest Day holiday, Saturday, October 15. The local event planning and flower shop has teamed with the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation and is offering a portion of the proceeds of flowers sold between Tuesday, October 11 through Saturday, October 15, to the foundation.

Savoir-faire, by definition, is the ability to act appropriately in any situation, and the team at Savoir-Faire Event Planning felt that with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it was more than appropriate to help a local charity that focuses on caring for local individuals who are battling cancer. The Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation is an Akron-area based nonprofit organization that provides day-to-day financial assistance as well as complimentary programs to local individuals and families who are battling cancer.

“We wanted to help, and knowing that the funds that the Comunale Foundation raises assist local cancer patients, we knew it was a great match for us,” said Brian Hurtt, Savoir-Faire senior event planner.

The full-service floral and event planning business began as a home-based business in Akron, OH, seven years ago, and is now a blossoming shop on the corner of West Market Street and Overwood Drive in the Pilgrim Square Shopping Center.

Visit Savoir-Faire Event Planning at 2309 West Market Street, Akron and our website sfevents.net. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and by appointment. To learn more about the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, visit www.stephencomunale.org.
