Savoir-Faire Event Planning is proud to welcome Winnie Leenaarts, AIFD, as their lead floral designer and consultant. Winnie, a seasoned designer, brings her 32 years of floral design experience in weddings, events, galas to the boutique shop located in Pilgrim Square. In addition to event planning, Savoir-Faire is a full time operating florist shop for special occasions and every day needs offering fresh and silk arrangements.
Winnie was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2003. AIFD Accredited membership is regarded as one of the highest honors in the floral industry.
Winnie has studied floral design and interior decorating under some of the finest and most-regarded designers in the United States and Europe. She has served two years as President of the Ohio Unit of Teleflora, the nationwide floral wire-service. She is very active in the Akron community, teaching and demonstrating floral designs to women’s organizations and garden clubs.
